Dimapur, May 5: In a benign gesture, a medical store in Dimapur has announced free medicines to all COVID patients, in the State, who cannot afford it from the open market.
A press release from M/s Medico, Dimapur on Wednesday informed that its owners, Basu Damani and Arvind Damani have decided to give free medicines to all needy patients, including police staff, on production of valid prescription from designated COVID Centres, under the guidance of District Task Force.
“The medicines can be collected from Lions Club of Dimapur from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. every day since the president of Lions Club has kindly consented to provide room for storage and distribution of medicines.
It is advised that a relative or representative of the patient should come with prescription to collect the medicines by strictly following COVID protocol,” it informed.
Outstation patients can send their prescription on WhatsApp at 9612633069, along with name and phone number of the person who will collect the medicines from Lions Club.
Basu Damani has invited all the likeminded people to join hands against the COVID pandemic and curb the spread.
