Dimapur, November 22: The Dimapur District Chess Association will be organising the inaugural edition of Dimapur District Chess Championship from December 13 to 14 at Tourist Lodge, Dimapur.
A press release informed that the championship will have two categories: open and under-16.
For U-16 players, the documents required for age proof are aadhaar card/PAN card/school ID.
Players for both the categories must produce permanent residence certificate signed duly by GB/Chairman of the colony/village and must be from Dimapur district.
The entry fee for the championship is Rs 700 for open category and Rs 300 for U-16.
Additional prizes include best female player, best veteran player and the young emerging player.
The total prize money for the championship is Rs 60,000.
