Dimapur boy cracks JEE Mains 2020

JiteshDimapur, September 14: Fifth generation Dimapurian, Jitesh Sethi, son of Arun & Meena Sethi cracked IIT/ NIT related JEE (Joint Entrance Examination) 2020 which is believed to be the toughest exams in the world. He is perhaps the State Topper from Nagaland amongst the IIT (Indian Institute of Technology) aspirants from Nagaland.
It may be noted that 10.23 Lakh aspirants for IIT/NITs appeared JEE Main 2020 out of which Top 2.50 lakh students have been selected to appear IIT JEE Advanced 2020 which will be held on September 27, for which cut-off was 90 percentile marks.
Jitesh has scored 99.17 percentile marks in JEE Main 2020. His All India Rank as per best of the two JEE Mains held this year is 9,401.
Earlier, Jitesh scored 92.6% marks in CBSE’s Class XII exams this year. He passed Class X with 10 CGPA from Hollotoli School in the year 2018.
Jitesh aspires to take up computer science to pursue his B Tech studies from the most prestigious institute of the country i.e. IIT.
According to Jitesh, his mother Meena Sethi is an inspiration for him, besides having motivated him to do wonderfully well. (Page News Service)
