Dimapur 24/7 donates ration to quarantine centres

Dimapur, June 4: Continuing with humanitarian service towards the homeless and needy families, Dimapur 24/7, an online social media platform with a large fan following in the state is carrying out its mission to serve the homeless amidst the coronavirus lockdown since the last three months.
Since the enforcement of the lockdown the homeless and the destitute in Dimapur were regularly provided lunch packets by Dimapur 24/7 along with many other social organizations including the district administration.
Today team members of Dimapur 24×7 led by its Director, Annie Jain met Deputy Commissioner, Anoop Khinchi IAS and handed over 15 bags of rice, 3 bags potato, 3 bags onion, 2 bags soyabean 20 kg each, 1 bag dal 30 kg, 2 bags salt, Mineral Water 50 carton for the quarantine centres.
Team Dimapur 24×7 visited Ebenezer Orphanage Home at Indisen village and Nagaland Children’s Home at 4th Mile and donated 4 bags of rice, 50 Kgs each (2 bags each) for the orphanage homes.
Team Dimapur 24×7 also donated 50 packets of rations consisting of rice, onion, potatoes,salt and soyabeans to the needy families at different locations at Kuda Mill and Near Metro Hospital.
Meanwhile, essential food items were also handed over to President of DDADU Tito for distributing it to the needy families of auto drivers.
A member of Dimapur 24/7 talking to Nagaland Page said that assisting the needy families with food packets is fully funded by Annie Jain, the Director of the online platform and they will be touring different areas of Dimapur to provide rations to needy families and added that the team will also be continuing to provide food packets to the homeless and appreciated all the donors for supporting their cause.
