DIMAPUR, FEBRUARY 17: The Nagaland NET Qualified Forum (NNQF) has clarified that it did not accuse the Nagaland Public Service Commission (NPSC) of holding back posts under Higher and Technical Education that were requisitioned to the commission.
In a press release issued on Wednesday, the forum stated that it had merely requested the NPSC for early advertisement of the 5 remaining posts as and when they are requisitioned to the commission.
“Furthermore, the forum would like to clarify that the RTI NO.HTE/HE/1-15/2013 dated 19th August 2019, which cited the reason for the five posts being withheld in the first CESE advertisement, dated 13th November 2019, as being under review and examination, was an RTI filed to the Department of Higher Education, Secretariat, and reply received from the same.
“The NNQF would also like to clarify that some members of the forum had met with the Secretary at the commission’s office on the 12th of February 2021 to inquire on the subject concerned and other related matters. In addition, the forum had submitted a letter to the Secretary, a signed copy of which the forum had retained, and the contents of which were published in the press statement questioned by the commission. Therefore, the commission’s statement that nobody ‘from NNQF has ever contacted the commission on the subject cited above,’ is only unwelcome and regrettable,” read the statement.
Further, the forum has been informed by the Secretary, Department of Higher Education, that the review and examination of the 5 unadvertised posts is being currently sorted out, and they will be requisitioned to the commission as soon as it is complete, it stated.
