DHS Longleng acknowledges

Dimapur, August 17: The District Health Society Longleng, headed by DC Shayung Phom, has acknowledged the contribution of World Vision India Longleng Area Development Programme and District Rural Development Agency (DRDA) Longleng for donating oxygen concentrators, pulse oximeter, hand sanitisers, masks, PPE kits etc to the Chief Medical Office.


A press release from CMO Longleng informed that a short programme was organised at PBCA hall on August 16, where Lalremtrhang, Project Officer World Vision Longleng ADP, highlighted the activities carried out by World Vision India.
He stated that World Vision India is one of the country’s largest child-focused humanitarian organisations; with close to seven decades of experience at the grassroots, they address issues affecting children in partnership with Government, civil societies, donors and corporate.
Under the World Vision India Longleng Area Development Programme, there are 18 primary focused areas. He also said that World Vision India Longleng ADP is extending help in procuring medical equipments to the CMO office during the pandemic.
World Vision India Longleng ADP donated 14 oxygen concentrators (10 litres), 28 pulse oximeters, 520 hand sanitisers (100 ml), 500 PPE kit, and 14 Oxygen Cylinder B Type (10 litres).
District Rural Development Agency (DRDA) Longleng also donated 4 oxygen concentrators (10 litres), 200 masks and 10 pulse oximeters.
