Dimapur, December 6: A farewell programme was held at Dimapur Government College on December 5 in honour of Mrs Alemla Imsong, who retired as vice principal of the college after having served at different official capacities including HoD of Political Science Department, vice principal and also officiating principal of the college.
Describing her as an efficient administrator and a remarkable woman, various speakers recounted her immense contribution towards the development of the college and the welfare of the students. While her sincerity and dedication has evoked respect and admiration, her warm hearted, generous and practical personality has won over the hearts of the extended DGC-family over the years, they said.
Alemla Imsong shared memories and experiences of her career and expressed gratitude to all for the constant support during her time in DGC. She shared her belief that the college remains under the care of able leadership and a committed staff.
The programme was chaired by Sedevino, Associate Professor in Political Science.
