
Dimapur, May 5: Citing the rapid surge in COVID-19 cases, the Deputy Commissioner of Dimapur, Rajesh Soundararajan has informed that there will be no public interviews on Wednesdays and Saturdays, except for matters of urgent nature and those concerning law and order.
The DC issued an order on Wednesday stating that public visiting hours would be between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. from Monday to Friday, except Wednesday.
No visitors would be allowed access to any file except through RTI Act.
Aadhaar correction/enrolment, issuing of ST/Indigenous Certificate, Society registration/renewal have also been temporarily suspended.
All officers, staff and visitors to DC office must wear face mask, maintain social distancing and practice hand hygiene at all times.
No visitors would be allowed entry for purpose of selling any items of handicraft, tickets, calendars, badges etc.
Only authorised vehicles would be allowed entry into the Deputy Commissioner’s office complex.
The authorised officer/staff/dealing assistant/peon would be accountable for safe custody and proper handling of files and records.
