The idea that says as there is one nation so there will be one language, one religion, one election, one party or one leader is as dangerous as a tree with one branch. Sometimes a tree has been pruned in a bad way turning it into a one-tree-one-branch. Such a tree loses its balance and falls flat causing grave accidents in the process. A democratic country is like a tree on the soil of Constitution. The tree keeps its balance when all of its branches get the air of transparency and unhindered sunlight of freedom. Democracy cannot survive if its institutions and diversity are undermined.
