Dimapur, September 26: The Naga Students’ Federation (NSF) has appealed to the Government of Nagaland to declare the prelim results of NPSC-2019 as well as issue notification for NPSC-2020. The federation also urged the Government to issue notification for recruitment to all existing vacancies in Group-C category at the earliest through the newly set up NSSB.
In a statement, NSF president Ninoto Awomi and education secretary Kegwayhun Tep stated that the Nagaland Public Service Commission (NPSC) had conducted the prelims examination to the Nagaland Combined Civil Services Examination 2019 on 30th November 2019, but the result for the same are yet to be announced.
The federation said the unexplained delay of more than 10 months to announce the result of the preliminary stage of the state’s most prestigious competitive examination by the top recruiting board has been the reason for much pain and frustration to those diligently aspiring to join the state bureaucracy by cracking the examination.
“Despite the existing threat posed by COVID-19, this cannot be the excuse for the state government from providing employment opportunities to the youths of the state. As the whole world adapts to living with the virus, Nagaland cannot be an exception,” it added. (Page News Service)
