DDCF appeals to DMC to defer the vacating process at New Market

Nagaland News

DIMAPUR, NOVEMBER 6: The Dimapur District Citizen’s Forum has appealed to the Administrator of Dimapur Municipal Council to defer the vacating process of more than 200 shops at New Market “for the convenience of the citizens and the occupants”.
“With the onset of the festive season and the increase in shoppers during this season, vacation at this moment will even affect shoppers from within and outside Dimapur and Nagaland”, it stated in a press release issued on Monday.
It also requested the DMC to make an alternative arrangement to relocate those shops and residents within New Market area itself.
