DIMAPUR, FEBRUARY 24: Dimapur Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DCCI) has announced that it will join the Bharat Vyapar Bandh on February 26 called by the Confederation of All India Traders (CAIT).
In a press release issued on Wednesday, the DCCI stated that GST regime has become burdensome to comply with and problematic for the traders of the country.
It appealed to the entire business establishment to strictly comply with its directive as the bandh is for the benefit of the business community.
The DCCI further directed the business establishments under its jurisdiction to strictly shut down shutters from 8 am to 4 pm on February 26. It informed that volunteers will be deployed to ensure strict compliance, and requested the law enforcing agencies to take precautionary measure so that anti-social elements do not take undue advantage of the situation.
