DC Wokha notifies

Dimapur, May 4: The Deputy Commissioner of Wokha, Orenthung Lotha has notified that all passenger vehicle/taxi plying to and various points of Wokha district are permitted movement, subject to certain conditions.


Drivers and attendants of commercials taxi and the passengers should compulsorily wear mask at all times while the drivers/attendants should make mandatory provisions for hand sanitisers.
Only passengers wearing masks be allowed to travel; vehicle travelling for long distance should be mandatorily cleaned and disinfected before the start of every journey with new passengers; non-locals travelling to Wokha without proper ILP/Govt official ID card should not be allowed to board the vehicle or pass any check gates; the rates of commercial taxis will be as pre-April revised rates; the number of passengers for all commercial vehicles should be a per the norms of social distancing-Sumo 5, Alto-3 and Ecco (6+1 seater)-4.
The above provisions for all commercial passenger vehicles will be monitored and enforced by a joint team comprising of district administration, police and DTO.
