DC Tuensang directs wards/sectors

Dimapur, June 20: Deputy Commissioner of Tuensang, Kumar Ramnikant IAS has stated that some wards /sectors are not allowing frontline workers to enter their wards /sectors despite completion of 7 days mandatory quarantine period after performing their roster duties and on testing negative for COVID-19. Therefore, the DC directed all wards /sectors to allow unhindered passage to frontline workers who have completed 7 days mandatory quarantine period and tested negative for COVID-19.
Stating that self-styled regulations by the wards /sectors is causing inconveniences and hampering the work of frontline workers in our collective fight against the COVID-19 pandemic, the DC warned that failure to comply with the order shall invite strict legal actions as per the provisions of the law.
