Dimapur, July 14: DC Mon Thavaseelan K has informed that a COVID-19 case has been detected at the quarantine center at 11 IRB camp Aboi under Mon District on July 13.
In this connection, the DC Mon has promulgated 144 CrPC prohibiting public movement within 100 meters radius of the containment zone at 11 IRB Aboi camp with immediate effect and shall remain in force till further orders.
The DC said this has been necessitated to mitigate the possible spread of COVID-19 for public health, public safety and public order.
Any one violating the order will be liable for punishment under section 188 of the Indian Penal Code, the DC warned. (Page News Service)
