DC Mon on recognition of Angchen village


Dimapur, July 20: Deputy Commissioner Mon, Thavaseelan K, IAS in an public notice issued on July 6 stated that a proposal has been received for recognition of a new village to be known as Angchen village under Tobu Sub-Division in Mon District measuring an area of 61,44,638.879 square feet with the following boundaries; North – Mokthu Thao (Jakphang Village): South- Telhang Thao (Changlangsu Village): East – Hongkong (Yakshu Village): West- Mojan Shang (Mopon).
Further, DC informed all concerned individuals/groups/villages that any claims and objections against the recognition of Angchen village should be submitted to the DC Office in written within 30 days from the date of issue of notice.
If no objection is received in written within the stipulated time, it will be assumed that there is no complaint whatsoever in connection to the proposal and the matter shall be forwarded to the government for further necessary action, he added. (Page News Service)
