
Dimapur, May 26: In view of the Prime Minister’s interaction with beneficiaries of various Government schemes on May 31 in the DC’s conference hall, a preparedness meeting was held on May 25 in the DC’s conference hall, Mokokchung.
Deputy Commissioner briefed the gathering about the purpose of the Prime Minister’s interaction with the beneficiaries of Government schemes along with elected representatives, families of freedom fighters, and leaders of civil society organization as part of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav. On the occasion, the Prime Minister will also be distributing the 11th installment of the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi with parallel events organized in KVKs.
DC informed DIO, NIC & DPO, Mokokchung, EE, Electrical Division, and DPRO Mokokchung to ensure that the assigned duties such as video screening and technical set up, uninterrupted power supply, sound system, and wide publicity of the programme be carried out effectively.
All concerned departments have been informed to identify 10-15 beneficiaries for the schemes under their respective departments and to submit their names and details to the office of the Deputy Commissioner, Mokokchung by May 27. All concerned department officials have also been informed to make sure that the beneficiaries reached the venue and be seated by 9 am. (Page News Service)
