Dimapur, October 6: Due to detection of African Swine Fever (ASF) in various locations of Kohima district, Deputy Commissioner Kohima, Shanavas C has declared Botsa Village (1 km radius of infected premises as infected zone; 10 km radius from the infected primes (9 km radius outside the infected zone as surveillance zone.
The order further banned slaughter of pigs, import and export of pigs and piglets and ban on transportation of pigs and pork.
