DC Dimapur cautions against obstructing frontline workers movement

Dimapur, August 8: Having noticed obstruction of entry and exit of health workers and frontline workers from their wards/colonies for performing duties by some individuals or group of individuals, DC Dimapur, Rajesh Soundararajan has cautioned any individual/organization issuing unwarranted directives/statement which infringe on individual rights and in violation of Government orders will be liable to be punishable under Sec 3 of the Epidemic Diseases Act, 1897 and Section 188 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).
In an order, the DC said support and cooperation from all is required in the fight against COVID-19. He requested concerned village/colony authorities to take cognizance of the same and intervene if such situation arises. (Page News Service)
