Dimapur, October 1: Consequent upon the announcement of the bye-election to the 60 Pungro-Kiphire assembly constituency by the Election Commission India, DC & DEO Kiphire Abhinav Shivam IAS has informed that the model code of conduct comes into force with immediate effect throughout Kiphire district.
Political parties, intending candidates, Government departments and general public have been informed to take note of the same and adhere strictly to the model code of conduct to ensure peaceful conduct of the bye election.
