DAB tag advantageous to Assam: TNYF

DIMAPUR, JULY 22: The Tzürangkong Naga Youth Front (TNYF) has asked Nagaland Government to initiate and work out with the Union of India and Government of Assam to remove the Disputed Area Belt tag from all the Naga-inhabited areas within the State of Nagaland bordering Assam.
In a press release, issued on Thursday, TNYF stated that DAB tag is more advantageous to the interest of Assam and is causing a lot of hardships to inhabitants of the area.
“The TNYF also demands the State Government to remove all the Armed Assam police camps established inside Nagaland at the earliest possible time to avoid any undesired consequences”, it stated.
Also, it thanked Minister Temjen Imna Along, BJP functionaries of 30th Alongtaki A/C and the officials of Rising People’s Party for visiting Tzürangkong area and voicing their solidarity with the people of Tzürangkong and Northern Sumi areas. (Page News Service)
