Dimapur, January 25: The Chakhesang Youth Front has extend its unconditional support to the Students’ Community to express its dismay over the unjustified command and orders and subsequent merciless murders under the indemnity of infamous AFSPA, 1958 which empowers the armed forces to fire upon the innocent public even to the extent of causing death.
The Chakhesang Youth Front strongly demanded immediate impartial/unconditional removal of the Draconian AFSPA, 1958. Until the demand for removal of AFSPA, 1958 is being met, the CYF directed all the affiliated units under it to convey their indignation to the Oting massacre and refrain from inviting the Indian Armed Forces during any functions or receive any aid under their banner.
The CYF while lauding the efforts made by the Government of Nagaland also appealed to promptly facilitate the immediate removal of AFSPA, 1958 with utmost sincerity.
