Cultural yatra event held at SXC Jalukie

Dimapur, October 31: A cultural yatra programme was held at St. Xavier College Auditorium, Jalukie on October 29 with ADC Jalukie, Dr Tinojongshi Chang as the special guest. The programme was organized by North East Zone Cultural Centre (NEZCC) in collaboration with Ministry of Culture, Government of India.
ADC Jalukie, Tinojungshi Chang called upon the youngsters present in the gathering to learn and respect each other’s cultural heritage and further pleaded them to rediscover and preserve their own rich culture which reflect their identity.
Special cultural dance were performed by Rongmei Chabuan Phuam Club, New Jalukie; Nataraj Sanskritik Shilpiu Samaj, Assam; Zemei Helim Ma, Old Jalukie; Hojagiri Cultural Dance, Tripura; Liangmai Dance by Tsengi Lin Group, Panthakaali, Karinkaali Aattam, Muchilottu Bhagavathy Theyyam, Jeevajwala Academy of Art, Kerela, Ujwal Kala Kendra, Sikkim.
The programme was chaired by Witingthuiliu while welcome address was proposed by Deputy Director, NEZCC, Dimapur, D. Vashum. (Page News Service)
