CTAN demands requisition of posts to NPSC

Dimapur, October 31: The Combined Technical Association of Nagaland (CTAN) comprising of 8 federating units/associations has issued reminder to 20 departments to sent requisition of all posts falling under the purview of Nagaland Public Service Commission (NPSC) for direct recruitment by November 15 next.
The departments are Department of Power, PWD, Urban Development, Rural Development, New and Renewable Energy, Higher Education, Forest, Ecology, Environment & Wildlife; Soil & Water Conservation; Water Resources, Agriculture, IT&C, PHED, Technical Education, Geology & Mining, Horticulture, Labour, Industries & Commerce, LM & Consumer Protection, Transport and Employment, Skill Development & Entrepreneurship.
The posts to be sent for requisition includes posts being filled up on ad-hoc or contract basis, new post creations and vacancies likely to arise within the next 12 months (till October 2019).
In an appeal letter, the CTAN said the Combined Technical Services Examination (CTSE) has already been delayed by a calendar year due to delay in sending requisition from the department, which it said is a hindrance for the aspirants.
While acknowledging the departments who have sent requisition to the NPSC for the year 2018, the association appealed to all the concerned Head of Departments to do the needful on or before November 15 for the welfare of the aspirants.
The CTAN comprises of Graduate Electrical Engineers’ Association of Nagaland, Association of Mechanical Engineers Unemployed, Agricultural Association of Nagaland, Forestry Graduates’ Association of Nagaland, Horticulture Graduates’ of Nagaland, Association of Electronics and Communication Engineering Nagaland and Computer Science & Information Technology Engineering Association of Nagaland.
