CTAN appeals for interview marks reduction

Nagaland News

DIMAPUR, DECEMBER 5: Pointing out that Government has reduced the “interview marks for NPSE (CSE)” from 75 to 55 (26.67%), the Combined Technical Association of Nagaland (CTAN) appealed to the authorities to do the same for CTSE ~ reduce the marks by 26.67% or from 65 to 48.
In a press statement, the Association stated that the draft of NSSB 2020 Rule 45 (personal interview) Clause 10 has made a mention of marks to be allotted in personal interview as 12.5% of total marks of examination process.
“We appeal to your respected authority to do away with interview as mentioned in the charter demand and in line with the policy of Central Government”, it stated and appealed to the authorities to “put the following points on top priority”.
“It is also to be mentioned that the reduction of interview marks and setting up of NSSB is the outcome of many sacrifices made educated Naga youths. The ill-effect of having interview marks in NSSB is dragging many candidates towards seeking recommendation from bureaucrats killing the very spirit of setting up NSSB to pave ways for deserving and hardworking candidate”, it added.
