Dimapur, September 8: As part of life skill subject, Charity School Kohima conducted an awareness programme based on ban on single use plastic as per NBSE notification.
The teachers with class 10 students distributed 500 free paper bags to shops and vendors with regard to ‘ban of single use plastic’ on September 7 supervised by assistant teacher Veduto & Diethozo.
The programme was also part of the NBSE directive to inform and educate the students as well as parents and community about the impacts of disposal of wastes from plastic products usage and plastic free campus. (Page News Service)
