CROW seizes illegal business tools in Wokha

Nagaland News

DIMAPUR, FEBRUARY 24: The Consumer Rights Organization Wokha (CROW), along with Lotha Students’ Union (LSU) and Lotha Youth Hoho, conducted an extensive checking within Wokha town on February 23, and seized 20 shovels which were all below the normal size from sand stockists.

A press release from CROW on Wednesday informed that all sand stockists in Wokha town were following the same trick and it seized the illegal business tools including mustard oil tin and shovels.
It asked all sand stockists and sales agencies to stop the illegal business.
Further, the organisation inspected all kitchens of hotels and restaurants and found that more than 40 hotels/restaurants were using domestic LPG cooking gas instead of commercial ones. They were directed to get commercial connections within 30 days, it informed.
All the seized items were handed over to the district administration, it added.
