CRBC meeting resolves

Dimapur, February 3: The Council of Rengma Baptist Churches (CRBC) held its 68th annual meeting at K Station Baptist Church from January 25-27 in which its 42 constituent member churches and a fellowship member solemnly committed before God and His faithful witnesses in the light of the theme ‘Let us rebuild: Word and Prayer’.
The meeting also resolved that churches under CRBC, as people of God, under His guidance submitted to draw closer to Him through the reading of His holy word – the Bible, and to commit under His authority.
The meeting also resolved to promote oneness and unity in Christ as individuals and churches visible through forgiveness of sin and repentance to restore the brokenness in our home, churches and society through the word of God.
The meeting further acknowledged the gift of human sexuality as man & woman true to our calling, and shall in no way endorse same-sex marriage, which it said is an abomination before God and the state of human depravity in need of redemption.
The council also appreciated and thanked all the church leaders for the unwavering support and co-operation towards CRBC ministry.
