CPO appeals to stranded students and employees

Dimapur, May 12: The Chakhesang Public Organisation (CPO) has expressed concerned over students and employees who are stranded in different parts of the country during this critical period of lockdown on COVID-19 pandemic.
It said situations no doubt calls on to return to their own respective home state, but considering the facts with all the preparations that are taking place to come at this moment will not merit much.
Any lapses on guidelines protocols would lead to social unrest which would have far reaching consequences, the CPO said in a press release issued by its president, Mikha Kenye and general secretary, Veduvo Rhakho.
The CPO, therefore, appealed to stranded students and employees outside our state to reconsider their return plans and stay back for some period.
It also requested the parents to have considerate understanding even if they are desirous to bring back their children.
The CPO requested the state government to provide necessary measures in case of students and employees decided to stay back. (Page News Service)
