COVID-19 Nagaland: Only one recovery

KOHIMA, MARCH 13: Nagaland on Sunday reported only 1 recovery as the number of COVID-19 confirmed cases stood at 35,447.
Dimapur district had the only recovery for the day.
The recovered persons tally is 33,149 with recovery rate at 93.51%.
There are 59 active patients, of who 5 have mild and moderate symptoms while 55 are asymptomatic.
The death toll in the State is 757, of which 4 died of co-morbid conditions.
Altogether 1,482 COVID-19 patients have migrated to other States.
Thus far, a total of 4,63,420 suspected COVID-19 samples have been tested in Nagaland. It includes 1,17,106 on RT-PCR, 96,061 on TrueNat and 2,50,253 on Rapid Antigen Test.
Meanwhile, the Health Department official informed that 88,601 teenagers in the 15 to 18 age bracket were administered with Covaxin till March 12.
Further, a total of 14,76,605 doses of COVID-19 vaccines have been administered to 8,17,572 persons during the same period, he said.
Out of the total doses administered in the State, 61,041 are frontline workers, 16,017 are healthcare workers, 2,21,236 are people above 45 years and 5,19,278 in the 18 to 44 years age group, he said.
A total of 6,35,441 beneficiaries have received the second dose of the vaccine completing the full course of vaccination. They comprise 48,922 frontline workers, 13,606 healthcare workers, 1,89,237 people above 45 years and 3,83,674 in the 18 to 44 years age group, he said.
Further, 23,592 people, including 3,471 health care workers, 17,993 frontline workers and 2,128 above 60 years of age with co-morbid conditions, have also been administered with the precautionary dose, he said.
