COVID-19 Nagaland: No new cases reported


DIMAPUR, JANUARY 24: No fresh COVID-19 cases were reported in Nagaland on Sunday as all the 64 samples that were tested drew blank. The caseload remained at 12,076.
“No postive cases of COVID-19 have been detected today. One postiveve patients have recovered in Kohima. Total postive cases-12076, recovered-11743, active cases-103. Wear mask, keep distance, stay safe,” tweeted Health Minister S Pangnyu Phom.
According to Health department data, there have been 78 COVID fatalities in the State so far, and 10 deaths due to co-morbidities. As many as 142 patients have migrated to other states.
Out of the 103 active cases, 9 were mild, 3 moderate cases on oxygen and two severe cases on oxygen. The remaining 89 cases were asymptomatic.
As per the segregation of cases, 4980 (41%) were traced contacts, 4667 (39%) armed forces/security personnel, 1857 (15%) returnees/travellers and 572 (5%) frontline workers.
