COVID-19 Nagaland: No new cases detected

KOHIMA, DECEMBER 21: Nagaland on Tuesday did not have any incident related to COVID-19 keeping the total of confirmed cases at 32,170.
The recovered persons tally is 30,317 and recovery rate at 94.24%.
There are 83 active patients, of who 13 have mild symptoms and 1 severe while 69 patients are asymptomatic, he said.
For the 5th consecutive day, the death toll in the State remained at 701, of who 16 had co-morbid conditions.
Altogether 1,069 COVID-19 patients have migrated to other States.
Thus far, a total of 4,21,034 suspected COVID-19 samples have been tested in Nagaland. It includes 111,839 on RT-PCR, 89,774 on TrueNat and 2,19,421 on the Rapid Antigen Test.
A total of 13,31,447 doses of COVID-19 vaccines have been administered to 758,487 persons as of Monday, said State Immunization Officer Dr Ritu Thurr.
Out of the total doses administered in the State, 60,985 are frontline workers, 16,005 are healthcare professionals, 213,866 are people above 45 years and 467,631 in the 18 to 44 years age group, he said.
A total of 572,960 beneficiaries have received the second dose of the vaccine completing the full course of vaccination. They comprise 48,605 frontline workers, 13,540 healthcare workers, 178,300 people above 45 years and 332,515 in the 18 to 44 years age group, said Dr Thurr.
