Kohima, February 17: Nagaland on Wednesday reported nil positive cases keeping the tally at 12,190 while 5 patients recuperated, improving the recovery rate to all time high of 97.72%, a health official said.
“No +ve case of #COVID-19 reported today. 5 +ve patients have recovered. Dimapur- 3, Kohima- 2,” said Minister for Health, S Pangnyu Phom in a tweet.
The caseload includes 11,913 recovered persons, and 36 active patients, he said.
The death toll in the State is 90, including 10 with comorbid conditions, said Director of Health & Family Welfare, Dr Denis Hangsing in the daily COVID-19 bulletin. Altogether 151 patients have migrated to other states, he said.
Nagaland’s COVID-19 recovery rate was 97.68% on Tuesday, he said.
The district wise active cases are Kohima – 27 and Dimapur – 9.
Meanwhile 18,207 doses of Covidshield vaccine have been administered across Nagaland till Wednesday. No adverse events needing medical intervention has been reported so far.
State Immunization officer (UIP), Dr Ritu Thurr said 7,696 healthcare workers have received the first dose with coverage of 36% and 8,761 frontline workers have received the first dose with a coverage of 17% till date, he informed.
