COVID-19 Nagaland: No new case for 3rd day in a row

Kohima, February 24: For the third consecutive day, Nagaland reported no fresh COVID-19 positive case, thereby keeping the tally at 12,192. On the other hand, recovery of 4 patients has brought down the active cases to single digit, a health official said.

“No +ve case of #COVID-19 reported today. 4 +ve patients of COVID-19 recovered in Kohima,” tweeted Minister for Health, S Pangnyu Phom.
Of the caseload, 11,941 patients have recuperated while 8 are active, said Director of Health & Family Welfare, Dr Denis Hangsing in the daily COVID-19 bulletin.
The recovery rate in the State has improved to an all time high of 97.94% from Tuesday’s 97.9%, he said.
Nagaland has so far tested a total of 1,29,711 suspected COVID-19 samples, including 74,658 on RT-PCR, 37,327 on TrueNat and 17,726 on Rapid Antigen Test, he added. (Page News Service)
