KOHIMA, FEBRUARY 24: Nagaland on Thursday reported 9 fresh infections and 42 recoveries pushing the number of COVID-19 confirmed cases to 35,390.
The fresh infections include Dimapur: 4, Kohima: 3 and Phek: 2.
The recovered persons tally is 33,007 with recovery rate at 93.26%.
The recovered persons for the day are: Kohima: 18, Dimapur: 15, Wokha: 5, Phek: 3 and Tuensang: 1
There are around 152 active patients, of who 14 have mild and moderate symptoms while 1 is severe on ventilator and 137 are asymptomatic.
With no demise for the day, the death toll in the State is 755, of which 4 died of co-morbid conditions.
Altogether 1,477 COVID-19 patients have migrated to other States.
Thus far, a total of 4,58,727 suspected COVID-19 samples have been tested in Nagaland. It includes 1,16,816 on RT-PCR, 95,622 on TrueNat and 2,46,289 on Rapid Antigen Test.
Meanwhile, the Health Department official informed that 75,112 teenagers in the 15 to 18 age bracket were administered with COVID-19 vaccine till February 22.
Further, a total of 14,61,485 doses of COVID-19 vaccines have been administered to 8,12,762 persons during the same period, he said.
Out of the total doses administered in the State, 61,041 are frontline workers, 16,017 are healthcare workers, 2,20,510 are people above 45 years and 5,15,194 in the 18 to 44 years age group, he said.
A total of 6,27,345 beneficiaries have received the second dose of the vaccine completing the full course of vaccination. They comprise 48,903 frontline workers, 13,603 healthcare workers, 1,87,495 people above 45 years and 3,77,344 in the 18 to 44 years age group, he said.
Further, 21,378 people, including 3,249 health care workers, 16,154 frontline workers and 1,975 above 60 years of age with co-morbid conditions, have also been administered with the precautionary dose, he said.
