KOHIMA, AUGUST 31: Nagaland today reported 8 fresh COVID-19 infections and recovery of 2 patients taking the number of confirmed cases to 35,915.
Three infections were reported in Mokokchung district, 2 each in Dimapur and Kohima district and 1 in Mon district.
Recovery of 2 patients ~ 1 each in Dimapur and Kiphire districts ~ increased the number of recovered persons in the State to 33,609.
Nagaland currently has 17 active COVID-19 cases of which 6 have mild symptoms and 11 patients are asymptomatic while 1,512 patients have migrated to other States.
With no demise for the 9th day in a row, the COVID-19 death toll remained at 777, of which 5 deaths are not related to COVID-19.
Altogether 4,79,896 suspected samples have been tested in the State so far.
Nagaland has administered 17,20,095 Coronavirus vaccines till August 30.
