COVID-19 Nagaland: 7 fresh cases reported


KOHIMA, FEBRUARY 11: Detection of 7 fresh COVID-19 infections on Thursday took the tally of confirmed cases in Nagaland to 12,175.
Director of Health and Family Welfare, Dr Denis Hangsing, in the department’s daily COVID-19 bulletin, informed that the active cases were at 89 after 5 more patients recovered on Thursday.
The caseload includes 11,848 recovered persons, he said.
Till date a total of 88 persons, including 10 with co-morbid conditions have succumbed to the infection in the State, while 150 patients have migrated to other states, he said.
Nagaland’s COVID-19 recovery rate stands at 97.31%, he informed.
Out of the total confirmed cases, 5,057 are traced contacts, 4,674 armed forces personnel, 1,871 returnees from other States and 573 frontline workers, he said.
Among the active cases, only one patient is with mild symptoms while 88 persons are asymptomatic.
Meanwhile, the total number of persons to receive COVID-19 vaccination in Nagaland reached 10,154 on Thursday.
