COVID-19 Nagaland: 6 new cases take tally to 12,217

Kohima, March 7: Nagaland on Sunday detected six fresh cases of COVID-19 taking the State’s tally to 12,217.
“6 +ve cases of COVID-19 reported today at Kohima. And, 1 +ve patient have recovered in Kohima,” said Health Minister S Pangnyu Phom in a tweet.
The caseload includes 11,953 recovered persons and 20 active patients, he said. The recovery rate is 97.83%, he said.
Altogether 91 persons including 10 with comorbidities have succumbed to the infection and 153 have migrated to other states, said Director of Health & Family Welfare, Dr Denis Hangsing in the daily COVID-19 update.
The active cases, one in Dimapur and 19 in Kohima district, are all asymptomatic, he said.
Nagaland has so far tested a total of 1,31,788 suspected COVID-19 samples, including 75,086 on RT-PCR, 37,376 on TrueNat and 19,326 on Rapid Antigen Test, he said. (Page News Service)
