COVID-19 Nagaland: 6 infections & 40 recoveries

Kohima, February 21: Nagaland on Monday reported 6 fresh infections and 40 recoveries as the COVID-19 tally surged to 35,363.
The fresh infections include Dimapur: 3, Mokokchung: 2 and Peren: 1.
The recovered persons tally is 32,904 with recovery rate at 93.04%. The recovered persons for the day are: Dimapur: 21, Kohima: 11, Phek: 3, Tuensang & Wokha: 2 each and Mokokchung: 1.
There are around 230 active patients.
With no demise for the sixth consecutive day, the death toll in the State is 753, of which 4 died of comorbid conditions.
Altogether 1,476 COVID-19 patients have migrated to other states.
Thus far, a total of 4,57,228 suspected COVID-19 samples have been tested in Nagaland. It includes 1,16,755 on RT-PCR, 95,501 on TrueNat and 2,44,972 on Rapid Antigen Test.
Meanwhile, the health department official informed that 68,279 teenagers in the 15 to 18 age bracket were administered with COVID-19 vaccine till January February 19.
Further, a total of 14,56,090 doses of COVID-19 vaccines have been administered to 8,10,935 persons during the same period, he said.
Out of the total doses administered in the State, 61,041 are frontline workers, 16,017 are healthcare workers, 2,20,208 are people above 45 years and 5,13,669 in the 18 to 44 years age group, he said.
A total of 6,24,539 beneficiaries have received the second dose of the vaccine completing the full course of vaccination. They comprise 48,901 frontline workers, 13,602 healthcare workers, 1,86,866 people above 45 years and 3,74,170 in the 18 to 44 years age group, he said.
Further, 20,616 people, including 3,176 health care workers, 15,516 frontline workers and 1,924 above 60 years of age with comorbid conditions, have also been administered with the precautionary dose, he said.
