COVID-19 Nagaland: 6 infections, 16 recoveries, 1 death

KOHIMA, FEBRUARY 26: Nagaland on Friday reported 6 fresh infections, 16 recoveries and 1 death pushing the number of COVID-19 confirmed cases to 35,401.
The fresh infections include Dimapur: 3, Kohima: 2 and Wokha: 1.
The recovered persons tally is 33,040 with recovery rate at 93.33%.
The recovered persons for the day are: Dimapur and Phek: 5 each, Mokokchung: 4 and Kiphire and Peren: 1 each.
There are around 128 active patients, of who 12 have mild and moderate symptoms and 116 are asymptomatic.
With the demise of a positive patient in Dimapur district, the death toll in the State is 756, of which 4 died of co-morbid conditions.
Altogether 1,478 COVID-19 patients have migrated to other States.
Thus far, a total of 4,59,363 suspected COVID-19 samples have been tested in Nagaland. It includes 1,16,837 on RT-PCR, 95,678 on TrueNat and 2,46,839 on Rapid Antigen Test.
Meanwhile, the Health Department official informed that 78,602 teenagers in the 15 to 18 age bracket were administered with COVID-19 vaccine till February 25.
Further, a total of 14,623,922 doses of COVID-19 vaccines have been administered to 8,13,553 persons during the same period, he said.
Out of the total doses administered in the State, 61,041 are frontline workers, 16,017 are healthcare workers, 2,20,595 are people above 45 years and 5,15,900 in the 18 to 44 years age group, he said.
A total of 6,28,411 beneficiaries have received the second dose of the vaccine completing the full course of vaccination. They comprise 48,905 frontline workers, 13,604 healthcare workers, 1,87,687 people above 45 years and 3,78,224 in the 18 to 44 years age group, he said.
Further, 21,958 people, including 3,314 health care workers, 16,648 frontline workers and 1,996 above 60 years of age with co-morbid conditions, have also been administered with the precautionary dose, he said.
