
KOHIMA, JANUARY 5: Nagaland on Wednesday reported 6 fresh COVID-19 infections taking the total confirmed cases to 32,216.
All COVID cases for the day were reported in Dimapur District.
The State also recorded 2 recoveries, taking the recovered persons tally to 30,377, and recovery rate at 94.29%.
There are 64 active patients, of who 16 have mild symptoms and 2 are severe while 46 patients are asymptomatic.
For the 11th consecutive day, the death toll in the State remained at 702, of who 16 had co-morbid conditions.
Meanwhile, Health Department official informed that 534 teenagers in the 15 to 18 age bracket were administered with COVID-19 vaccine as on Tuesday.
Further, a total of 13,37,805 doses of COVID-19 vaccines have been administered to 760,198 persons as of Tuesday, said State Immunization Officer Dr Ritu Thurr.
