KOHIMA, DECEMBER 11: Nagaland on Saturday reported 5 fresh infections and 9 recoveries taking the total of confirmed cases to 32,151.
Three cases were detected in Dimapur and 2 in Kohima districts, said State Nodal Officer for Integrated Disease Surveillance Project, Dr Nyanthung Kikon in the daily COVID-19 bulletin.
The recovered persons tally rose to 30,284 as 4 patients in Dimapur, 3 in Kiphire and 1 each in Kohima and Mokokchung districts recovered during the day.
The recovery rate is at 94.19%.
There are 101 active patients, of who 14 have mild symptoms and 3 severe while 84 patients are asymptomatic, he said.
With no fatality for the 6th consecutive day, the death toll in the State is at 699, of who 16 had co-morbid conditions, he said.
Altogether 1,067 COVID-19 patients have migrated to other States, he said.
Thus far, a total of 4,16,565 suspected COVID-19 samples have been tested in Nagaland. It includes 111,663 on RT-PCR, 89,212 on TrueNat and 2,15,690 on the Rapid Antigen Test, he said.
A total of 13,12,041 doses of COVID-19 vaccines have been administered to 750,238 persons as of Friday, said State Immunization Officer Dr Ritu Thurr.
Out of the total doses administered in the State, 60,983 are frontline workers, 16,004 are healthcare professionals, 211,877 are people above 45 years and 461,374 in the 18 to 44 years age group, he said.
A total of 561,803 beneficiaries have received the second dose of the vaccine completing the full course of vaccination. They comprise 48,561 frontline workers, 13,531 healthcare workers, 175,797 people above 45 years and 323,914 in the 18 to 44 years age group, said Dr Thurr.
