KOHIMA, FEBRUARY 28: Nagaland on Monday reported 5 fresh infection and 15 recoveries taking the number of COVID-19 confirmed cases to 35,407.
Four infections were detected in Dimapur district while one was in Mokokchung district.
The recovered persons tally is 33,065 with recovery rate at 93.39%.
The recovered persons for the day are: Dimapur: 9, Mokokchung: 2 and Peren, Phek, Tuensang and Wokha: 1 each.
There are 109 active patients, of who 11 have mild and moderate symptoms and 3 are severe on ventilator while 95 are asymptomatic.
The death toll in the State is 756, of which 4 died of co-morbid conditions.
Altogether 1,478 COVID-19 patients have migrated to other States.
Thus far, a total of 4,59,682 suspected COVID-19 samples have been tested in Nagaland. It includes 1,16,856 on RT-PCR, 95,728 on TrueNat and 2,47,099 on Rapid Antigen Test.
Meanwhile, the Health Department official informed that 79,159 teenagers in the 15 to 18 age bracket were administered with COVID-19 vaccine till February 27.
Further, a total of 14,65,047 doses of COVID-19 vaccines have been administered to 8,13,900 persons during the same period, he said.
Out of the total doses administered in the State, 61,041 are frontline workers, 16,017 are healthcare workers, 2,20,662 are people above 45 years and 5,16,180 in the 18 to 44 years age group, he said.
A total of 6,29,065 beneficiaries have received the second dose of the vaccine completing the full course of vaccination. They comprise 48,905 frontline workers, 13,605 healthcare workers, 1,87,861 people above 45 years and 3,78,694 in the 18 to 44 years age group, he said.
Further, 22,082 people, including 3,330 health care workers, 16,748 frontline workers and 2,004 above 60 years of age with co-morbid conditions, have also been administered with the precautionary dose, he said.
