COVID-19 Nagaland: 4 new detections push tally to 12,706

DIMAPUR, JANUARY 23: Nagaland on Saturday registered four fresh COVID-19 detections as well as four recoveries, according to Health Minister S Pangnyu Phom.
Three out of the four new cases were from Dimapur and one from Kohima. All the four recovered patients were from Dimapur.
“4 +ve cases of COVID-19 have been detected today. Dimapur-3, Mokokchung-1. Also 4 +ve patients have recovered in Dimapur. Total +ve cases-12076, recovered-11742, active cases-104. Wear mask, keep distance, stay safe,” the minister tweeted.
As of Saturday, the State’s caseload was 12,076 while the total number of recoveries was 11,742. There are 104 active cases.
Out of the active cases, 88 were asymptomatic, 10 mild cases, 4 moderate cases on oxygen and 2 severe cases oxygen.
The State has recorded 88 deaths out of which 10 have been declared ‘not Covid-related’.
As per the segregation of cases, 4980 (41%) were traced contacts, 4667 (39%) armed forces/security personnel, 1857 (15%) returnees/travellers, 572 (5%) frontline workers. (Page News Service)
