COVID-19 Nagaland: 32 infections, 46 recoveries


KOHIMA, FEBRUARY 16: Nagaland on Wednesday reported 32 fresh infections and 46 recoveries as the COVID-19 tally surged to 35,306.
The fresh infections include Dimapur and Kohima: 13 each, Wokha: 2 and Kiphire, Mokokchung, Phek and Tuensang: 1 each.
The recovered persons tally is 32,711 with recovery rate at 92.64%.
The recovered persons for the day are: Dimapur: 33, Kohima: 11 and Mokokchung: 2.
There are 367 active patients in the State, of who 104 have mild and moderate symptoms and 4 are severe while 259 patients are asymptomatic.
Thus far, a total of 4,54,979 suspected COVID-19 samples have been tested in Nagaland. It includes 1,16,541 on RT-PCR, 95,285 on TrueNat and 2,43,153 on Rapid Antigen Test.
Meanwhile, the Health Department official informed that 60,430 teenagers in the 15 to 18 age bracket were administered with COVID-19 vaccine till January February 7.
Further, a total of 14,50,149 doses of COVID-19 vaccines have been administered to 8,06,248 persons during the same period, he said.
Further, 19,283 people, including 2,936 health care workers, 13,084 frontline workers and 1,640 above 60 years of age with co-morbid conditions, have also been administered with the precautionary dose, he said.
