COVID-19 Nagaland: 3 infections, 4 recoveries


Vaccination for 12-14 year commences

KOHIMA, MARCH 16: Nagaland on Wednesday reported 3 infections and 4 recoveries as the number of COVID-19 confirmed climbs to 35,455.
Dimapur district reported 2 infections and 3 recoveries while Wokha district had 1 each infection and recovery each.
The recovered persons’ tally is 33,167 with recovery rate is 93.54%.
There are 47 active patients, of who 2 have mild and moderate symptoms while 45 are asymptomatic.
The death toll in the State is 757, of which 4 died of co-morbid conditions.
Meanwhile, Health Department official informed that a total of 15,67,783 doses of COVID vaccines have been administered in the State till March 15.
Of the total vaccinated, 89,367 are teenagers in the 15 to 18 age bracket have been inoculated with Covaxin.
Launching the vaccination for 12-14 age group children today, a total of 22 children were inoculated with the vaccine.

COVID-19 restrictions extended till March 31

Dimapur, March 16: Nagaland Government has extended the existing measures for containment of COVID-19 and the relaxations for various activities, subject to adherence to conditions and relevant SOPs, till March 31.
This was stated in a DIPR bulletin issued on Wednesday.
