Kohima, May 6: Nagaland today reported 267 COVID-19 positive cases, taking the State’s tally to 15,271.
“267 postive cases of COVID-19 reported today. Kohima-130, Dimapur-117, Mokokchung- Tuensang- 7 each, Phek- Zunheboto-2 each, Longleng- Mon-1 each. 38 positive patients recovered. Dimapur-21, Kohima-9, Tuensang-7, Mon-1,” said Health Minister S Pangnyu Phom in a tweet
The caseload includes 12,428 recovered patients and 2,245 active patients, he said.
With this, the recovery rate in the State has further reduced to 81.38 percent from Wednesday’s 82.57 percent.
Death of 3 positive patients today pushed the death toll in the State to 121, of which 10 had co-morbidities, he informed.
A total of 477 patients have migrated to other States, the Minister tweeted.
Meanwhile, as of May 6, Nagaland has administered a total of 2,22,763 doses of COVID-19 vaccines to 1,75,398 persons, said State Immunization Officer Dr Ritu Thurr.
Out of the total persons vaccinated in the State, 51,291 are frontline workers, 14,979 are healthcare professionals and 1,09,128 are people above 45 years and senior citizens, he said.
A total of 47365 beneficiaries have received the second dose of the vaccine completing the full course of vaccination. They include 26,272 frontline workers, 9,955 healthcare workers and 11,283 persons above 45 years and senior citizens, said Dr Thurr. (Page News Service)
