
KOHIMA, JULY 22: Nagaland today reported 20 fresh COVID-19 infections and recovery of 11 patients as the confirmed cases rose to 35,675.
Dimapur district reported the highest number of new cases at 12, followed by 7 in Kohima district and 1 in Mokokchung district.
This is the highest single day detection of the virus in the State after Nagaland became Coronavirus free on April 24.
The State now has 92 active cases.
11 patients recovery ~ Kohima 5, Dimapur 4 and Peren 2 ~ increased the number of recovered persons to 33,319.
The COVID-19 death toll in the State remained at 765 with no deaths during the period, while 1,499 patients have migrated to other States thus far.
Altogether 4,76,283 samples have been tested in the State so far.
A total of 18,94,228 doses of Coronavirus vaccines have been administered in the State till July 21.
