COVID-19 Nagaland: 2 each infections & recoveries

KOHIMA, MARCH 10: Nagaland on Thursday reported 2 each cases of fresh COVID-19 infections and recoveries as the tally of confirmed cases stood at 35,443.
One infection each was reported in Dimapur and Mokokchung districts while the recoveries were in Dimapur district.
The recovered persons tally is 33,137 with recovery rate at 93.49%.
There are 67 active patients, of who 7 have mild and moderate symptoms while 60 are asymptomatic.
The death toll in the State is 757, of which 4 died of co-morbid conditions.
Altogether 1,482 COVID-19 patients have migrated to other States.
Thus far, a total of 4,62,947 suspected COVID-19 samples have been tested in Nagaland. It includes 1,17,087 on RT-PCR, 96,015 on TrueNat and 2,49,845 on Rapid Antigen Test.
Meanwhile, the Health Department official informed that 87,725 teenagers in the 15 to 18 age bracket were administered with COVID-19 vaccine till March 9.
Further, a total of 14,75,083 doses of COVID-19 vaccines have been administered to 8,17,159 persons during the same period, he said.
Out of the total doses administered in the State, 61,041 are frontline workers, 16,017 are healthcare workers, 2,21,165 are people above 45 years and 5,18,936 in the 18 to 44 years age group, he said.
A total of 6,34,613 beneficiaries have received the second dose of the vaccine completing the full course of vaccination. They comprise 48,920 frontline workers, 13,606 healthcare workers, 1,89,081 people above 45 years and 3,83,006 in the 18 to 44 years age group, he said.
Further, 23,311 people, including 3,456 health care workers, 17,735 frontline workers and 2,120 above 60 years of age with co-morbid conditions, have also been administered with the precautionary dose, he said.
