COVID-19 Nagaland: 2 deaths take toll to 90

Kohima, FebRUARY 16: Nagaland on Tuesday reported only one fresh detection amidst 16 patients recuperating keeping the tally at 12,190 and improving the recovery rate to all time high of 97.68%, a health official said.

“One +ve case of #COVID-19 reported today in Dimapur. 16 +ve patients have recovered in Kohima,” said Minister for Health, S Pangnyu Phom in a tweet.
The caseload includes 11,908 recovered persons, he said.
Demise of two COVID-19 infected patients in Dimapur during the day have increased the death toll in the State to 90, including 10 with comorbid conditions, said Director of Health and Family Welfare, Dr Denis Hangsing in the daily COVID-19 bulletin. Altogether 151 patients have migrated to other states, he said.
16,189 vaccinated
The number of frontline workers in Nagaland who have received COVID-19 vaccination reached 16,189 on Tuesday.
According to Health department data, 14,980 persons have been administered with the first dose of the vaccine while 1209 have received the second dose as well. (Page News Service)
